1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ClaimIt ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
ClaimIt is a live auction platform that allows sellers to broadcast live video while auctioning collectibles and other items to buyers in real-time.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Seller Obligations
- Sellers must accurately describe items and disclose any defects
- Sellers must ship items within 3 business days of sale
- Sellers are responsible for packaging items securely
- Sellers must provide valid tracking information
5. Buyer Obligations
- Bids are binding commitments to purchase
- Buyers must maintain sufficient wallet balance for bids
- Buyers must provide accurate shipping addresses
- Buyers should report issues within 3 days of delivery
6. Fees
ClaimIt charges sellers a 10% platform fee on completed sales. This fee is deducted from the sale price before funds are released to the seller.
7. Payments and Escrow
All payments are held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt or 7 days after delivery confirmation, whichever comes first. Funds are then released to the seller.
8. Prohibited Items
The following items may not be sold on ClaimIt: illegal items, weapons, counterfeit goods, adult content, hazardous materials, or anything that violates applicable law.
9. Disputes
In case of disputes, ClaimIt may mediate between buyers and sellers. Our decision is final. We reserve the right to issue refunds and suspend accounts as necessary.
10. Limitation of Liability
ClaimIt is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
